My passion for ancient and modern Italy started early as I joined my family for business trips to Italy. Subsequently I studied and worked in both Italy and the Netherlands.

During my studies I worked as an Italian language teacher, interpreter and tour guide for Italian business trips in the Netherlands and as a hostess at trade fairs such as the Horti Fair in Amsterdam and Flormart in Padua, Italy.
After graduation I worked in Italy as a coordinator for the Dutch Touring Club ANWB and for General Electric and in the Netherlands as an office manager for Giorgio Armani.
I also worked for a number of years as a project leader for the education institute LOI and the Dutch institute for the hotel and catering industry.
